            Dear Parents and Students,

            500 Internal Server Error

            Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.

In order to protect our young people and my colleagues as much as we can the emphasis will be on hygiene. Sanitising hands, wiping down equipment and washing hands will be the top priority. The site will also be thoroughly cleaned every night after school.

All aspects of the school day will be very structured. There will be a number of additional rules to follow and these must be followed. Year 10 have already experienced the differences on the school site and they have responded magnificently. We are all going to have to take more responsibility for our own actions so that we protect everyone on the school site and on the buses. I know that the young people of The Henry Beaufort School are more than capable of doing this. I am relying on their support and their awareness of the importance of keeping everyone safe by following the rules.

The most important thing to remember is that we will be back as a whole school community from September and I cannot wait to see you all!

We will be back to full school uniform from September so it might be a good idea to try on your uniform this week to see if you need to order any items! Our pre loved uniform will be available on Monday the 31st of August. Times and venue will be confirmed at a later date.

            Dates for the diary

            Monday the 7th of September 2020  - Year 7 only - Transition/ Learning day

Tuesday the 8th of September 2020  - All students return to school.

Calendar dates published in the Student Handbook are subject to change. There will be no after school activities for the first half of the term and no late buses. This will be reviewed in October based on the national picture/ guidance. This is in line with other secondary schools in the area.

In the meantime with less than two weeks to go we still have a few activities and challenges for you to try.

Your recipe this week is provided by Mrs Denman and it is for Oaty Summer Crumble.

In your hbX challenge this week, Mrs Briggs and Mrs Lewis have kick started the countdown to Christmas with a Christmas card competition for the Respect Project, who support the LGBTQ+ community.

It will be snowing before you know it!

With my best wishes to you and your families.

            Miss Hearle
